Clint Stonebraker wrote Connected: The Art of Building Relationships after 20 years of dealing with families in his role as a counselor of teen substance abusers.  He began his career at age 18 as a result of recovery from his own addictions and in the process discovered his love for working with struggling youth and their families. He sought training specific to adolescent substance abuse counseling through John Cates and Associates in Dallas, Texas. Stonebraker received his first certification in 1993 in Georgia.

Currently head of The Insight Program in Georgia and North Carolina, Stonebraker has served on the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling Board of Georgia.  He is certified as a substance abuse counselor in Georgia and North Carolina and is licensed as a substance abuse counselor in Arizona. Stonebraker is also certified as a clinical supervisor in Georgia and North Carolina.

Stonebraker found that people and organizations sought his services as a speaker and consultant outside the area of substance abuse and now conducts interactive workshops for groups and business around the U.S.  Three years ago he established a coaching consultancy at ClintStonebraker.com to work with individuals, focusing on establishing personal definitions of success and discovering joy and passion in life and relationships.
