Join Dr. Gracer for what will be a fascinating interview about breast cancer risks and prevention. Dr. Gracer’s guest is Lisa Drayer, MA, RD, a well-known dietary expert who reviews a recent study that you will find informative and fascinating. The data from this study shows that vitamin D deficiency and alcohol consumption are major risk factors for breast cancer. Ms. Drayer also highlights some simple things that women can do to reduce their risk.
Dr. Gracer then reviews many other factors that also affect cancer risk. (Note: Bayer funded this survey and also the interview with Ms. Drayer in order to showcase and promote their One a Day multivitamin, which has a significant amount of vitamin D, which is very important for breast health. However, this does not affect the findings discussed or their importance.)
