Larry Smith, DC, the author of Embracing the Journey of Recovery, visits with Dr. Gracer. Dr. Smith, himself in recovery, found his way to health and happiness through a balance of spiritual discovery (mind, body and spirit), diet, exercise, and 12 step programs. More about Dr. Larry Smith

Dr. Smith graduated in 1987 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He previously attended the University of Manitoba with studies in science and physical education. He graduated in 1983 with a B.P.E. and was twice named MVP of the men’s gymnastics team. He is a member of the Canadian, B.C. and Manitoba Chiropractic Associations. He is proud to have been past president of the North Vancouver Island Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Smith has written several articles about chiropractic and sport injuries including co-authoring a book on the subject. In 2007, his book, Embracing The Journey of Recovery was published. He also released a DVD titled, The Fitness Prescription which is now available in 30 countries. In 2006 and 2008 he trained for and completed the Canadian Ironman Triathlon in Penticton.
