More about Tracy

Within the Program Department, Ms. Sturdivant is the driving force behind two main initiatives: Vote, Run, Lead™ and Real Security. The Vote, Run, Lead initiative compels more women to participate in the political process by teaching them about the power of exercising their right to vote, as well as training them to run for political office. The Real Security initiative drafts a new security paradigm for America : a platform that uses all our resources—particularly women—to create new security dialogues and solutions. Under her guidance, The White House Project has trained over 600 women to run for political office and developed a new security platform for some of our nation’s most promising current and future women leaders.
